EQU StreamZ ® magnetic horse bands introduce a new technique in magnetism – ‘360º resonance technology’ – Advanced magnetism for your horse.
EQU StreamZ magnetism does not pulse, it spins! This unique process prevents an increase in temperature allowing the bands to be worn by the horse immediately after exercise and for long periods of time, including through turnout and 24x7 if required.
Ideal to be used as complementary tack for both pre and post exercise making them perfect for horses at home or competing sports horses. Targets the whole body (not just localised areas) and provides a form of natural inflammation reduction. Suitable on horses diagnosed with navicular, windgalls, laminitis, equine arthritis, joint issues, Ringbone and much more!
The neoprene design fits snuggly around the horses fetlocks or hocks and are recommended to be worn for a minimum of 8hrs per day, but the longer the better!

Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with a heart condition
Seek medical advice before using StreamZ Technology on a horse fitted with a pacemaker, or a previously diagnosed heart condition.
Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with sensitive skin
Some animals, particularly greys (white haired horses) or horses with allergic contact dermatitis, may find the neoprene too sensitive to place against the skin. If you notice any discomfort or discolouration on the skin within the first 1 to 24 hours then remove the bands. If problems persist then the neoprene bands should be removed completely. This article on how best to apply tape may be on interest.
Note: Tape can can applied to the horse's legs prior to fitting the bands, avoiding direct contact with the skin. Follow the advise HERE if you wish to do this.
The StreamZ strips can also be removed from the sleeves and wrapped around the horses leg within a bandage/vet wrap - avoiding the use of neoprene entirely.
Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with PPDID/Cushings
If your horse has been previously diagnosed with severe Cushings then you may want to speak with a vet prior to use.
StreamZ are a complementary device and should never replace prescribed medications or treatments. As with prescribed medications, StreamZ does not offer any guarantees for the intended purpose of use.
Each horse is advised to wear two EQU StreamZ bands (one pair) just above or below the fetlock area, on any two front or hind legs.
Ensure the horses legs are clean before fitting the bands.
If using in soft ground, or on sensitive skinned horses, a few layers of equine tape can be applied around the leg prior to fitting the bands. This can also be beneficial when using the bands in stables using bed shavings.
Make sure at all times that the bands are fitted evenly ensuring that the Velcro fastening hooks cannot touch the horses skin.
The bands should be removed for riding.
Wrap around the leg ensuring they are tight enough to not spin around the leg. Around one fingers width between the horse and the bands will be about right.
The technology is designed to be worn for a minimum of 8 hours a day although results have been reported as significantly greater when used 24x7.
Where and when to wear EQU StreamZ bands
ABOVE Fetlock (around the cannon bone) – use when turned out in soft ground conditions or whilst in light work.
BELOW Fetlock (around the pastern) – use below fetlock when turned in or on box rest. (Slightly better reaction when placed below, but movement is found below the fetlock)
If the ground is soft enough to allow the bands to be partially or fully submerged then the bands should be removed. Tape can be used below or above the bands if you do wish to use the product in very muddy weather.
In wet/muddy conditions it is advised to remove the bands completely if the bands will become submerged in use.
The bands can be placed on any two legs; providing 'full-body coverage'.
Care and attention and 'a level of common-sense' is required for the bands to last; as with any other tack product.
What to do about damaged or lost bands
Lost bands are not covered under warranty and single bands are not available for purchase.
Please note that most horses have the ability to remove the bands. They may have no history in removing tack in the past, but there is a first time for everything. If bands are found damaged or on the floor it is highly likely they have been removed. Our team will be able to advise.
'Turnout strips' are available for a small fee, these are small 10cm badges which fit over the fastening tongue of our horse bands. These are glow-in-the-dark neon yellow and have been developed to strengthen the fastening of the bands and allow them to be found easier if they are removed. Ideal for 'chewers' or horses turned out for long periods of time.
Remove EQU StreamZ when riding
The bands should be removed when riding. There is slight movement within the area the bands are placed which can lead to rubbing or the bands falling off.
Using the bands 24x7
StreamZ advertise the EQU bands as “24x7 use”. This refers to the technology being able to be worn all day every day, and particularly when the horse is ‘in recovery’. This does not stipulate that bands can be worn 24x7 in all weather conditions, particularly in extremely muddy conditions where the bands may become submerged. Common sense is require for when the horse can and cannot wear the bands.
How often do you need to replace EQU StreamZ bands?
We recommend updating the bands with new versions every 3 to 4 years. This is because we are constantly updating the technology as new materials and technologies become available. The existing design is roughly 10% stronger in energy than the original invented technology due to updates in the material used within StreamZ silicone.
Cleaning the bands
The material has a life span as with any aesthetic product such as shoes or clothing; it requires care and attention to last 12 months or more, particularly the fastening. To keep the bands as long as possible it is advised that they are washed as often as possible using only cold water and soap only.
Simply remove the StreamZ silicone strips from the open end of the bands (the end next to fastening tongue) and wash by hand or in a machine on a cold hand washing setting and place the strips somewhere safe. Hand/pat dry and slide the StreamZ strips back into the bands, with the ridges/lines on the StreamZ strip facing away from the skin (smooth side facing the skin).
Avoid using warm/hot water at all times as this can damage the hooks on the fastening material.
Pay attention to the open-stitched end of each band. This open stitch allows the removal of the StreamZ magnetic strips for when the user wishes to wash the bands or update the sleeves. Once on a horse the Magnetic strips are unable to be removed as the strips wrap around the horses leg. If Streamz strips are misplaced then this is entirely out of the control of StreamZ.
Storing the bands (when not in use)
To ensure the long-term effectiveness of your StreamZ technology, avoid placing StreamZ products directly against traditional magnetic devices. Direct contact with standard magnets can interfere with and potentially damage the unique StreamZ polarisation process, making the technology less effective.
StreamZ products can safely be used alongside other magnetic or therapeutic devices, but they should be stored separately when not in use to maintain optimal performance and product longevity.
Maintaining the EQU StreamZ bands
The fastening within the EQU StreamZ requires a level of maintenance and care.
Warranty is available on defects with the fastening. We have had issues in the past with the material used and updated the material to the strongest on the market to rectify this issue.
Proof of purchase will be required for warranty defects, damaged or lost bands are not covered under warranty.

Where should EQU StreamZ be worn on my horse?
EQU StreamZ horse bands are bands which can be worn on any two fetlocks (front legs) or the hocks, hind legs (back legs.) They should be wrapped around the pastern or cannon bone, just below or above the fetlock (fronts or hinds). They provide full-body coverage.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ through turnout?
Yes, the bands can be worn 24x7 and through most weather conditions. If turned out or on soft ground we advise the bands are fitted above the fetlock to avoid them being submerged or damaged.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ through box rest or in the stable?
Yes. The horse bands are developed of long term 24x7 use and are suitable inside a stable or on box rest. Place around pastern or cannon bone, on either front or back legs.
Due to varying weather conditions it is not always possible to wear them below the joint. It also depends on the weather/ground condition as to whether they are placed above or below.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ bands overnight?
Yes. EQU StreamZ bands are designed for continuous wear, including overnight and during turnout, for maximum effectiveness. They should be worn for a minimum of 8hrs per day.
What weather conditions can EQU StreamZ bands be used in?
EQU StreamZ bands are suitable for use in all weather conditions. This includes hot weather, snow, rain and everything in between.
As with any tack, it is important that the products are never submerged in mud. If the ground is wet/soft and has the potential to submerge the product the bands should either be placed above the fetlock (and out of the mud) or removed completely.
Can I use EQU StreamZ bands while riding my horse?
No we advise that you remove the bands whilst riding; the bands may move around on the leg slightly causing discomfort. The bands can be worn during light exercise and schooling, but they are primarily designed for use when the horse is at rest, in rehabilitation (box rest) or turned out.
Are EQU StreamZ bands safe for all horses?
Yes, EQU StreamZ bands are safe for all horse breeds, ages, and disciplines. This includes pregnant mares. Consult your veterinarian if you are not comfortable with using StreamZ on your horse for any reason.
Can EQU StreamZ bands be used on foals or young horses?
Yes, they are safe for young horses and in fact our product for cows, MOO StreamZ, are widely used on calves who have been injured in or just after birth. It is advised to monitor the use of the bands when first used on young horses as they have notoriously sensitive skin. If they have white hair or appear to have thinner/more sensitive skin than the average young horse then you can wrap a few layers of vet rap around the leg first - avoiding direct contact between the skin and the bands.

I'll be the first to admit, I was hesitant that little magnets in a band on a horses leg would actually help. But wow! My horse was so lame he could barely walk. Hes a rehab project, presumably foundered and had a deep digital flexor tendon injury that was causing him so much grief, his entire body was swollen and tense. I took a leap of faith, thinking that it wouldnt hurt to at least try these bands and when I tell you that he is a different horse now, im not lying! In less than 24 hours, he went from not being able to walk from his hay to the waterer, to trotting out in the field, playing with his herd mates! The swelling in his legs is totally gone, he's no longer favoring any legs, he's happy and playful and he's moving now almost completely sound! I wish I could describe it better, words just dont do it justice. These were a life saver for him and I cant thank Equ Streamz enough!
Love magnets for horses
Since starting to use the EQU streamZ bands my horse has been feeling great and moving freely. They are easy to put on and easy to clean.
Used on a 30 year old miniature pony with severe arthritis- worked wonders!! Actually worked good enough he was able to strut his stuff non stop in the cart - he just loves to go out, and now his life is back to normal.
I have a 32 year old stud that had lameness in his front end. I already had a pair of the Magnetic Bands so I put them on him. It was amazing how quickly the lameness went away. He then began having a little trouble with his one hind leg and I was afraid it would result in him having difficulty getting up after laying down. I ordered another pair and they have been on him ever since. I check the bands daily to make sure there is no rubbing. So far they have been great and he is back to trotting and cantering around the field. Thanks! You have a created great product.

I was looking for something to help our gelding with soreness. I waited months to put them on because I wanted the ground to be dried up.
We’re sorry to see this review, but we do feel some important context is needed here.
These products are manufactured using extremely robust, durable materials and are worn by horses around the world, often 24/7 and throughout all seasons and weather conditions.
However, no wearable equine product can realistically be expected to be indestructible. If a horse catches, pulls or rips a band off with sufficient force, the material or stitching has to give somewhere. Unfortunately, no practical fabric product is going to withstand unlimited force from a horse.
We could perhaps make them from Teflon and charge $5,000 a set 😉 — but even then, we wouldn’t fancy their chances against a determined horse!
A band being physically ripped from the horse is therefore very different from the product simply failing during normal wear. We’re always happy to look at genuine product issues and help where we can, but accidental or force-related damage can unfortunately happen with any item worn by a horse.
I bought these for our mini that we got recently that is prone to laminitis. She has improved significantly and walks more freely and comfortably. I also use it on my daughters horse post barrel runs. Love the product. Wish I had more
Although we've had a lot of rain and I've had to keep the bands off due to thick mud, they are very easy to clean and almost immediately when bands were initially placed I could tell that my horse was a lot calmer and less agitated than usual.

I was hoping these would work on my one mare. She has had a sore fetlock for a couple months so I wanted to give these a try. Also I wire cut on the other leg. Unfortunately these bands dont seem to be working for her.
I want to try them on my other mare who is a tad stiff in her back end.
The velcro is excellent tho. I dont have any fear of them falling off.

I love them but one out of 4 came apart - company has been quick to replace under the 1 year warranty so I am very pleased overall.

Since wearing EQU StreamZ my mare warms up quicker at the beginning of our ride and is never stiff or sore after a hard work out.
I started using these bands on my 20 yr old gelding as he has some arthritis in his front knees. He has been on Previcox and I was looking for something non-medicated for more long-term relief. A friend of mine recommended these bands as they use them on their horse to great effect.
After two weeks my gelding definitely has more energy and displays less evidence of pain while riding. He is able to go longer distances without pausing for rest and steps out eagerly along the trail. I have since taken him off the Previcox.
I am using them for total body relief - one front leg and opposite back leg.
Both horses that have this on suffer from winter laminitis. It has made such an improvement for them during the winter months. They are happy and enjoy moving freely

Je ne voulais pas que deux traitements se chevauchent afin de voir quel traitement fonctionne le mieux pour mon cheval souffrant d'arthrose. J'ai bien hâte de les essayer. My 23 yr old 17h warmblood gelding has been living with Suspensory Desmitis for about 6 years. I’ve tried everything I can think of to help him with this but was told by my vet that “there’s really nothing you can do”. In a very short period of time his whole outlooked on life improved as did his appetite and activity level. I have since invested in 2 collars for my 12 yr old+ Springer Spaniels and a wrist band for me. (Order for ankle band to follow) and touted your products to fellow equestrians and dog owners to the point that more than one is researching.
Both my mares are benefiting from their bands. Stiffness and swelling are gone. My one mare wears the 24/7 unless we are riding her. She waits at the door for them to be put on. So that tells me they make her feel great.
I am using the magnetic horse band on my horse. I have noticed an improvement in her movement. She doesn’t look stiff and sore. She is trotting out and showing no lameness.

I have a couple of old horses and hoping for a miracle. So far not much has changed with them.
Bought these a couple weeks ago! So far they are just wonderful, used inside the barn, light workouts and turnout and they stay on and don’t move! No more stocked up legs while stalled.

My gelding has puffy fetlocks as long as I have had him. My farrier is working to correct angles of his feet and that has helped but there’s still been a bit of fill in his legs each morning.
